Multi usage
The Maxaflow pump is suitable for dispensing any liquid supplied in industry standard 60 and 209 litre drums.
Single port attachment
The Maxaflow insert forms an airtight seal on 60 and 209 litre steel drums
A specially designed thread fits 2” BSP or NPT drum ports. Typically it can be installed and discharging liquid in less than one minute.
High volume low pressure discharge
When pumping light fuels a discharge rate of one litre per second can be easily achieved at a discharge height of 800mm (32inches) above the top surface of the drum. This is a faster discharge than a regular petrol station pump.
No fluid to seal contact
At no point in the pumping process does fluid contact any type of seal (static or dynamic). This eliminates fluid leakage common in rotary and linier displacement pumps.
Hands free operation
The unique Maxaflow system utilises a simple foot activated bellows pump which takes little effort to work and enables both hands to be free.
Kinetic valve
A check valve that prevents any backflow of air from the drum reduces pumping effort by up to 28%. This improves volumetric efficiency and provides smooth discharge (no pulsing).
Easy cleaning The attachment has no closed internal chambers allowing hassle free cleaning of all internal surfaces by abrasion if necessary for hygiene or to avoid cross contamination when the same pump is used for different liquids.
Zero electric potential
The kinetic valve is electrically bonded to the drum body on each pumping cycle making the apparatus resistant to static build-up, removing the possibility of earth seeking sparks providing an ignition source.
Ultra high efficiency
The elimination of surface friction (bearings and vanes) results in extremely low power loss. With the exception of liquid pipe friction, all the work done is applied to moving the fluid.
Over pressure protection
Safety is assured. The foot pump has a typical pressure output of 4 lbs per square inch, which is significantly less than the design working pressure of steel drums.
High durability
The pump has no mechanical parts which suffer degradation due to friction meaning it is resistant to wear.and assuring operational long life.
Non toxic Maxaflow pumps are made of non toxic 316 stainless steel and Toyox Springflex Hose.
